Barbie Beats Boredom

Basically, I was stuck at home; doing nothing, of course. After seeing the mom's Fendi cuff and the Barbie, I decided to bring out the creativity and create another lame attempt at Barbie Couture. HAHA. Geez, I better find something else to do for summer. I might end up creating an entire line of Barbie Couture out of sheer boredom. Sheesh.

Maybe I should, actually. Who knows, it might be my ticket to fame. HAHA. Here's to hoping I actually make human-sized versions one day. *crosses fingers*

So that's Barbie 1 and Boredom 0

Oh yeah.

Deal Dozen Launch

Guess who was pretty drunk to not use auto-focus. LOL.

OVERFLOWING DRINKS YEAH. Too bad I’m too much of a nun to actually drink. LOL.

From L-R: Neil, Joma, Cherry, Nicole, Jonessa, Rachelle and Cams
One still-sober bitch and a drunk brother. Oh boy, how will I take them home?

Neil being Neil: Business as usual. Those are our calling cards they’re holding. Haha.

With Joanna Ladrido! One of the organizers of the event and website, Deal Dozen.

With Joanna. She’s really really nice! And we’re both wearing pink. HAHA. And can I just say, shocks, ang ganda nya lang talaga. Matitibo ako. LOL.

After a long day shooting for Manila Kid’s ads, we headed to Member’s Only at The Fort to attend Deal Dozen’s website launch. It was an awesome night! Lots of real awesome people. And very chic ones too! Thank god for clothes. HAHA. Labo. Met new people that night. Cherry the Fruit (LOL) and some of Nicole’s friends. Cherry was awesome! She did a lil’ bit of everything. HAHA. Overall, it’s been an awesome night; even if Joma and Neil were a bit tipsy from all the free alcohol. Too bad I don’t drink. I’M SUCH A NUN. Oh well, I’ll be heading back to the convent soon. LOL.

Manila Kid: Behind the Scenes

We didn’t have a make-up artist! Jesus Christ. Thank God they knew how to paint their faces themselves with a lil’ bit of help from Jane.

My brother, Neil, Mark Perez, the photographer and Charles, one of the models.

My brother and his silly, oversized Japanese fan he’s been slapping me with all day.

Joma wasn’t a model but that didn’t stop him from doing a lil’ modeling himself.

And he photographed too!

Kevin, Jane and Charles. Kevin looks like Kurt (from Glee) and Justin Bieber’s love child don’t cha think? And the idea of Kurt and Justin doing IT is just weird. And random. HAHA.

The entire crew (from L to R): Charles, Kevin, Neil, Mark, Alexandria, Joma, Me, and Lois.

We saw what the woman did there! Alexandria was such a head turner that day.

And of course, the founders of Manila Kid.

We had a photoshoot in Intramuros for the teaser ads of our upcoming t-shirt line,Manila Kid. It was an amazing day! We all got lost in the streets of Manila before ending up shooting in Manila Cathedral first. It wasn’t long before we were being chased by the Guardia Civil for shooting without permit. It was fun running in heels though, both imaginary and real. And we saw a Lamborghini in San Agustin. Very Italian. HAHA.
Anyhoo, watch out for Manila Kid soon! We’ll be launching it real soon!

Manila Monochrome

Some black and white shots I took during our mini fieldtrip in Intramuros. Looks like shots from an old B&W movie.
How I wish Manila retained its old, Spanish looks. Then Manila would’ve looked some sort of Asian version of Paris. That would’ve been awesome.

No Permits

My friend and I went to Intramuros to shoot some pegs for our upcoming clothing line Manila Kid. After hours of winding through the streets of the walled city, I just had to take off the imaginary heels and grab some sandwich from the local deli. The Manila sunset is just awesome. And the old buildings are just amazing. Will hopefully shoot here soon again. Hopefully. Since the Guardia Civils are usually on our tails, we can never get a decent shot. They shoo us away if we don’t have permits. BOO HOO. And I thought places like these are for free. Bummer. Oh well. It’s still Manila, I guess.
