Last Saturday, I went (more like dragged, really) to do a shoot in UP for a shop that sells school merchandise. It was pretty chilly in the morning; thus I wore a sweater. That and because I wasn't really in the mood to dress up or anything. It was the first day of my semestral break and the last thing I wanted was someone knocking on my door at 6 in the morning, asking me if I could shoot some stuff. Well, we can't get all what we want, can we?
Funny though, the weather that started out chilly became insanely hot after just an hour of driving there. I know Manila's weather has always been like a girl on her period; unexpected and if unprepared, might cause so much stress. Ha! But, kidding aside, wearing this gorgeous mustard sweater on a hot day like that was prolly one of the things that I find bittersweet; I look nice but I'm sweating like crazy. Upside is, it doesn't show. I'm not sure if it's a win-win situation though. Nevertheless, lesson learned: if you're going to wear something knitted, it better be thin. Coz it ain't Antarctica here in Manila so don't push it.
Maybe next time I'll stick to the plain polos, yes?
